An Executive Director heads ILS, assisted by a Deputy Executive Director.

ILS has four technical divisions covering the areas of employment, workers’ welfare, and labor and social relations research, as well as research information and technology.  Facilitating the operations of the technical divisions is an Administrative Unit.

The technical corps comprising these divisions are young men and women trained in various disciplines such as economics, industrial relations, sociology, mass communication, and the social sciences – working together as a corporate team in an inter-disciplinary mode to make indubitable imprints in the programs and projects of DOLE.

In terms of manpower complement, ILS has four chief positions, 18 technical staff, seven support staff in the technical divisions, and 19 administrative staff.
