Employment Research
The Employment Research Division (ERD) conducts researches and studies in support of developing policies and programs that promote the generation and availment of opportunities for gainful, humane, and productive occupation, leading to the attainment of full employment in the Philippines. [ Functions ]
Workers’ Welfare Research
The Workers’ Welfare Research Division (WWRD) conducts researches and studies in support of developing policies and programs that promote a safe, healthy, and humane work environment for workers, and the advancement of their general well-being and productivity. [ Functions ]
Labor and Social Relations Research
The Labor and Social Relations Research Division (LSRRD) conducts researches and studies in all areas of labor and social relations for the development of policies and programs that promote the attainment of a more democratic, constructive, and productive partnership among workers, employers, and government. [ Functions ]
Research Information and Technology
The Research Information and Technology Division (RITD) promotes better understanding of labor and employment issues, particularly through the publication of the results of ILS researches and studies, and the effective organization and maintenance of its information resources for easier access by information users. [ Functions ]
Administrative Unit
Facilitating the operations of the technical divisions is an Administrative Unit under the Office of the Executive Director.  It formulates policies and programs pertaining to internal employee relations and matters related to staff development, wage and benefits administration, grievance handling, and internal management control.  It also administers social services and schemes promoting employee welfare.  It periodically evaluates and updates the management policies and programs of ILS toward a more effective, efficient, and cohesive corporate pursuit of its mission.
