Evaluation of Labor Representation in Government Institutions in the Philippines
Year Completed: 2002

This evaluation study draws a comparative profile of tripartite and multi-sectoral government institutions with labor representation. It focuses on and analyzes the dynamics involved in labor representation, and tries to arrive at an assessment of the effectiveness of labor representatives in advancing the interests of the sector they represent, and of the government institution they serve.

The study discusses and analyzes some relevant issues that have surrounded labor representation, and as a result, formulates policy recommendations to further bolster the effectiveness of labor representation in government institutions.
