Protection and Flexibilization
Year Completed: 2002

This study looks into the incidence of flexible working arrangements in the Philippines, and the predisposing factors leading to such arrangements.  It also aims to determine the extent to which flexibilization has affected the welfare and protection of workers, particularly in terms of working conditions.  The implications of flexibilization on certain indicators as level of earnings, wages/ non-wage benefits, basis of pay, work hours, nature of contracts, productivity, and others are explored.
