ILS - DOLE

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), under the leadership of Secretary Rosalinda D. Baldoz, launched the Partnerships in Governance Forum during the opening ceremonies of the DOLE's Institute for Labor Studies' 2nd Strategic Conversations last September 6, 2010 at the Microtel Hotel, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. The Partnerships in Governance Forum seeks to forge stronger cooperation and ties between the government and the private sector in the interest of Filipino workers. During her keynote address, Secretary Baldoz said that the project was in line with President Benigno S. Aquino III's labor and employment agenda for the country. After her speech, a Memorandum of Agreement and Cooperation was signed between the DOLE, headed by Secretary Baldoz, and the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in the Philippines, led by Mr. Julian Payne.
