At the MIRC, you can access more than 4,000 books, 141 print journals, 19 e-journals and a rich collection of databank material much of it “grey” literature such as technical reports, newsletters, conference proceedings, fact sheets, and bulletins.  As a specialized information center, our collection focuses on migration concerns as well as various labor and employment subjects.

Management and Services
 

The Institute for Labor Studies, the research and policy advocacy arm of the DOLE, manages the MIRC.  You will be assisted in your search for references or information by two dedicated ILS staffmembers.

 
Facilities

Well-lit reading area with direct access to the collection of books, periodicals, print journals, databank materials, and general reference tools

   
Audio-video materials
   

Computer workstations for on-line search and access to information materials such as e-journals, downloadable publications, databases, and on-line libraries

 
   
Request facility for information resources published by other agencies or institutions
   

Opening Hours
We are open from 8:30 to 12:00

in the morning and from 1:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon, Mondays to Fridays.  Lending and information services open at 9:00 a.m.
