ILS - DOLE

Labor Diplomacy goes live online at the Working World Trialogues (WWT) at the Microsoft Headquarters in Makati from May 13-14. The two-day event, organized by labor think tank Institute for Labor Studies (ILS) is the first online gathering of government, civil society leaders and Filipino labor attaches and welfare officers around the world.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of young Filipinos graduate from college. And every year, many of these graduates end up being jobless, underemployed and unemployed. As such, their march towards becoming fully-productive citizens of the country is delayed, if not denied.

WITH THE THEME, “Crossroads in Labor Relations,” the Institute for Labor Studies (ILS), the research policy and advocacy arm of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), held a working world trialogue on industrial relations from June 3 to June 4 at the Occupational Safety and Health Center in Quezon City.
